The Province of Ontario, City of Toronto and Mississauga Transit have undertaken a major joint effort to create a new Inter-Regional Transit Terminal at the Kipling Station that integrates TTC subway and buses, GO rail and buses as well as Missisauga Transit bus service into a single transportation hub. It will include a new terminal with 14 bus bays for GO Transit and Mississauga transit, new north, west and east subway entrances. Construction is already scheduled to begin this spring, but the Station will remain in operation during the construction period. The opening of this new Inter-Regional Terminal is currently scheduled for the fall of 2010.
